Hello, my name is Angela. =] I live in Eastern Kentucky and
I am eighteen years old. Starting school in January. Right
now my major is Medical Information Tech, but I may
be changing it to nursing after my first semester. I
have a boyfriend with whom I will be living after
this coming Saturday, actually. I enjoy cooking,
eating, taking photos of just about everything,
Harry Potter, fashion, anything strange, HK,
and video games (especially old Nintendo
systems, Xbox 360 and a few MMOs as
of late). Music-wise I love Brand
New and I think that I always
will. I also enjoy rap music
and The Beatles. Movie-
wise I like superhero
and comic book
films.
Some
games that I
enjoy are BioShock,
L4D 1&2, Katamari games,
Halo 3 multiplayer, and Red Ninja,
with my favorite series ever being the
Harvest Moon series. I'm always looking for new
friends to play with. :] Anyway, I post pretty often, and
make sure to comment on my friend's page each time. I also post a

A dream for a dream..
Hey everyone, i am new to LJ so looking for like minded friends and so forth, but of course before people add me or think about it, ill put a little bit about me first. :) First thing's first, i am 25 years of age, living in cornwall in england, engaged to a wonderful guy and together we have a 2 and half year old daughter. Life is busy with those two and a manic cat and of course with my old hobbies and movements i pretty much do not have a single moment to myself until 7pm each evening but that suits me :) Other than that i am a qualified nurse although at the moment i am just raising my daughter whist my partner works... i just do not seem to have the heart anymore to go in be a nurse in the way concidering how the way the nhs has become and the way hospitals are now run i cannot become part of that side anymore but thats too much information. Other than what i have said above i have a huge desire to create jewlerry which i am currently working on some new designs and how best to mold them. I am a huge fan girl to jdramas well any korean dramas to be honest same with taiwanese as long as the story is good, characters worth watching i dont even notice the fact im reading it. Best way to be. Some of my favourites are hana yori dango, hana kimi [jap version too], devil beside you, why why love, liar game, gokusen 1,2,3, your beautiful, kimi wa peto and loads loads more. :) Music wise i adore everything and anything except a lot of classical. At the moment i tend to be listening to a lot of foreign music from a lot of korean bands such as Arashi, kattun, news, gackt, dbsk, rainie yang, boa, kodi kumi, wonder girls and loads more from that genre. Other than that i a fan of some old music such as stuff from meat loaf, ub40, sting, davie bowie, phil collins, rod stewart, drifters, commodors, fleetwood mac, michael jackson, four seasons and many more. I adore rap and hip hop and its weird for a girl to like them so much but some of the songs are brilliant, not all about shooting people up which is good. Some of my fav artists are ndubz [i see them more as hiphop than pop tbh], 2pac, snoop, dre, eminem, dmx, lil wayne, flo rida and a lot more. As for movies i am a fan of the twilight series, [ i know sue me rofl]. harry potter, lotr, whoopy goldbergs movies, jim careys movies, bruce willis movies, snatch, menace to society, boys n the hood, kidulthood, adulthood, will smiths movies, disney [lol always been a fan and with lil one i have to be with the ammount she watches them], i like some horrors, mostly comedys and some dramas i do enjoy a tear jerker here and then but not all the time. tv series haha i am such a geek i am mad on csi i have box sets of miami and ny at the moment, Also love torchwood and doctor who, cannot seem to get enough of that series, Numbers is a new one i have become to like because it is slightly different approach to a crime series. Ghost whisperer i got into this from day one and never really stopped watching it. doctor quinn medicine women i am a fan of as i watched this when i was younger, much younger and really enjoyed it and just recently noticed there showing it again so ive gone and gotten into it all again, soldier soldier adore this series got boxset of it also as i am a squaddys daughter i can relate to a lot of what is shown in there and i suppose it brings back memories for me. xfiles again got whole series told ya i was a utter geek. Huge fan of anime such as spirited away, howls moving castle, fireflys, princess mononoke pretty much all his work, fruit baskets, zoe, hack, hellsing, trigun, FMA, wolves rain, blood last vampire, vampire hunter d, fusugi yugi, chobits, trinity blood and many more which i really cannot remember right now. other than that i am a full blown gamer when i get the time, i played legend of ares before it closed down, hoping for it to be released again as it was one of the best pvp games out there today. i play jade dynasty and run a alliance there it is a pretty good mmo and pvp isnt too bad if you go into the pvp realms but sadly it doesnt compare so much with loa. :) i am on gaia online as a community :). Hm i am a final fantasy fan, have xbox live and pretty much love any rpg, drama games there are including a lot of fun ones. i have a lot of consoles from olden days and i must say i still love my ps2 as it has all the early ffs on it, legend of dragoon, alundra, vagrant story, kodelka, shadow hearts and many more plus sing star which i must say is very fun when you have a house full xD Hm damn this is long what else, i am mad on makeup and everything to do with it. :) so expect a lot about that and also probably some tutorials as well XD other than that i suppose if people want to know more they can ask me themselves, enjoy Current Mood:  amusedCurrent Music: csi |

Hullo. Good-bye~
 Yo. After discovering tons of new interests, I thought it was time to find new friends with similar interests--and friends who can teach me new things! I'm 21 and trying to figure out what I want to do with my life before I go back and finish my last two years of college. I speak Spanish, English and Japanese (Studying it since my boyfriend doesn't speak a lick of English or Spanish). I'm originally from Puerto Rico but these days, my life consists of traveling back and forward between Sitka, Alaska and Osaka, Japan. When I'm with my family in Alaska, I work at a Super market and when I'm in Japan with my boyfriend, I kinda mooch off of him still looking for work and hang out. I blog about my every day life, since there's always something new-- one of the perks of constantly moving around! And my blog can be kind of picture heavy. It's also written in English and Japanese with the occasional Spanish. I've been getting really in to fashion so I spend a lot of time reading on that! I also love clubbing and drinking--that could be the latina blood in me lol. I also really like photography and travel. When I'm in the US, I love love love watching movies and netflix has become my best friend. I listen to a lot of Asian music, trance, techno...hip hop.... goodness, if I can dance to it, I'll listen to it. I wanna work at an airport some day...since I spend so much time at them anyway. I wanna meet all kinds of people. I'm tired of reading the same types of blogs. I live in Japan most of the time but I'm not like OMG THIS MANGA. OMG THIS ANIME. Sometimes there are good ones but I don't obsess over it. Now...if we're talking about American Comics..that might be a different story. Marvel rocks my world. |

My name is Tricia, I'm 23, and I live in rural Alaska. I'm a high school dropout and I spend the majority of my time regretting that, and nothing more. Really, I don't have much of a life. I am not very nerdy, and I am not very social. I watch too much TV, and sleep too much. The only recreational activities this town has to offer are: drinking and doing drugs. I've given them both a try or eight, and I've finally decided to give it a rest. Thus my abundance of spare time. As you may have guessed, I still live with my parents. I work as a housekeeper at a motel, but I'm afraid there just isn't enough business this time of year to keep me employed full-time.
Anyway, my point is that my life is pretty fucking dull. However, my mind provides me with enough conflict to write about... sometimes.

Hi everyone! My names Amanda, I’m 22. I live in Ottawa, Ontario.. Well outside anyways.. Country bumpkin? Not really. :P I’m a Pagan and love nature.. Everything to do with it. I’m back living with my mum, got out of a long term relationship with someone that didn’t go too well. I then tried to go on with my life with another guy and well.. I thought it was going well.. Didn’t happen. Broke my heart. Oh well.. I’m slowly getting over it.. And trying to become a happier person. It’s hard though, I have to admit. Still trying to finish my high school and go on with my life. ANYWAYS, I think I’ll go on about the things I enjoy and what not. :P Music - The Beatles, Michael Buble… Classic Rock mostly. Hobbies - Photography, scrapbooking, painting, drawing, crafting.. Mainly anything to do with arts and crafts. I’m not totally sure what to say about myself. I don’t usually do things like these. I'm 21 years old and I currently raise havoc in Baltimore, Maryland,
where I was born and raised. I want to keep this short & sweet.
I'm going to school to become an art therapist - I've changed my major and career path about eight times but this is my final decision. If I can just to change one person's life and well-being through the power of art and the creative process then I'll have done what I was meant to do on this earth. I'm sarcastic, but friendly; I spit venom but taste like candy; I love to read, write, paint and create.
I go out a lot, drink a lot, and my party animal ways can be considered both a strength and a vice.
I'm starting to calm down now though and finally focus on getting what I want out of life.
I love giving, but recieving is always appreciated too.
I think outside the box. I love reading through random Wikipedia pages and learning new things. I say what I'm thinking and I have no filter. (which tends to be a bad thing more often than good)! I'm not fake. I'm interesting, and I know this, because even I find myself interesting. I'm not modest. haha. I took a hiatus from LJ

Hello, I love you, won't you tell me your name
Hey all. What would you like to know? I'm a twenty-five year old photographer & writer in Los Angeles. I have a degree in filmmaking, but film school left a bad taste in my mouth, so I don't see movies. Fortunately, I have only a minor in fine arts, so I can still appreciate that. I like to go out, I like to collaborate, and I like to volunteer. I'm queer identified, an atheist, and a transportation renegade who chooses to navigate car crazy Los Angeles on her pink bicycle or via public transit. Since giving up my car as my primary form of transportation (I still have one for major transportation), I've been happier & healthier. I reject standards of conventional beauty - I don't shave my armpits nor do I pluck my eyebrows. But I do like to shave my legs, which are big & strong from riding. I was a teenager once - have done & still do my share of recreational activities. Tripping is the best (& cheapest!) way to travel. I love a good stiff cheap drink in a trashy dive bar (Mr T's Bowl in Highland Park is my fave). My favorite music is live. I enjoy reading young adult science fiction & fantasy. Having been through some rough spots, I feel I've transcended much of my materialistic desire, focusing on the bare necessities, and living in gratitude for the things I do have. I'm looking forward to growing older, wiser, and more wrinkled. I attempt to operate outside of mainstream society, though I've a fondness for expensive hair products, good food, & fancy drinks. I'm generally pretty confident, cheerful, and outgoing. I work in the party & event scene in Los Angeles, so I am looking for fellow LA kids with a social flare. I possess a genuine curiosity & sympathy for the lives of others, and love the potential to experience a different POV that Livejournal offers. After all, it's when we find ourselves trapped within the confines of our own vision that we suffer the most. I'm very focused on positive energy, and propagating it in all my actions. Hi there I'm 23 living in Australia. Been on LJ for many years now (though on and off with various usernames) and thought it would be good to meet a few new people. I enjoy a good bottle of wine and lately I've become a bit obsessed with making tapas. I'm a bit unsure of what I want to do with my life. So in lieu of that my next goal is to travel from Singapore to London by train. Planning to do that in 2011. I'd say I'm a bit obsessed with music in a High Fidelity kind of way. I'd say my top five songs of all time are Teenage Riot by Sonic Youth, A Change Is Gonna Come by Sam Cooke, White Lines by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Loose by the Stooges and Purple Sneakers by You Am I. I'm big on seeing live music. I think I realised that so far I've been to over 100 concerts in my lifetime. The best show I had ever been to was Lou Reed performing Berlin until I saw the Arcade Fire. I don't watch much TV but lately I've been getting into The Wire. Other shows I enjoy are West Wing, the IT Crowd and classics like Black Books, the Muppet Show and the Young Ones. I'm generally a fan of movies by Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, the Coen Bros and Wes Anderson. I'd also rank Donnie Darko, Lost in Translation and High Fidelity amongst my favourites. I'd say my least favourite film would be Castaway, mainly because it wasn't so bad that it was funny like the Rocky and Bullwinkle movie. I'm an actively political person. My belief is that all political awakenings comes from a personal experience. I identify as someone on the left but enjoy debating with people of different persuasions (so long as they're not ranty). Nothing shits me more than people sitting around agreeing with each other. Feel free to add me. |

Soo this is my first time on LJ and Im kind of confused but getting the hang of it. I'm Robbie from a smalll town in Massachusetts, I'm 19 years old and im a history major at school. Hiiii~ I'm eighteen and a Japanese major in college. I hope to become fluent someday and I also want to become fluent in Korean. I absolutely love anime, manga, video games (XBOX 360, DS, Wii, older systems, and I really want a PS3!), and Asian dramas, so if you are into those kind of fandoms, I'm sure we'll get along great! If you're not, that's cool too, as long as you're okay with mentions of them in my blog. :D. I also have some not-so-geeky interests. I really like drawing, film, and music. Some of my favourite movies are Fight Club, Where the Wild Things Are, Party Monster, and But I'm a Cheerleader. I'm homosexual and in a serious relationship. If you have a problem with that or are just looking for romance, look elsewhere~ I absolutely love etsy and buy handmade goods from there whenever I can afford it! I do most of my clothes shopping there as well. I collect plushes of random things like zombie bunnies and peanut butter jellyfishes.
